Introduction
In the world of Faerûn, where the balance of peace teeters on the brink, a new threat looms. The veil between the Material Plane and the elemental planes thins, spreading chaos and unpredictability across the land. Rivers reverse direction, mountains shift without warning, and once-familiar landscapes transform overnight into treacherous unknowns.
Strange creatures, some not known to icy climates, slip through cracks in reality, bringing danger and wonder in equal measure. The lands are alive with whispers of islands consumed by fire, glaciers extending beyond known maps, and volcanoes crumbling into valleys.
Amidst this chaos lies the icy region of Icewind Dale, where the town of Easthaven stands as a beacon for the brave and desperate alike. Each of you, with your unique pasts and paths, has been drawn here. The choices you make and the paths you take will determine the fate of this fragile world.
